FAQ: Users, Projects, Photos & Parts

How do I access Account Management and manage users?


Click the Account Management button when logged in to open your account page. From there you can edit your account, change your plan, and create or edit users in your account.


Tip: Use the user's email address as their username for consistency (optional but recommended).
How do I add a new project and navigate to it?
  1. In the app, select Projects.
  2. Tap an existing project or create a new one with the + button.
What can I do inside a project?
  • Rename the project (pencil icon)
  • Add a location (+ icon)
  • Open any existing location
What can I do inside a location?
  • Rename the location (pencil icon)
  • Add a photo for the location (portrait icon) and view it via View Image
  • Add a sub-location (nested location) with the + icon
  • Add a part (camera icon) or open an existing part/location
How do I add parts with photos (best practices for shooting)?
  1. Tap the camera icon to add a part to the current location.
  2. Take a CLEAR photo of the label you want read.
  3. Do NOT include multiple labels in one photo.
  4. When prompted, manually edit quantity and add notes if helpful.

Save options after shooting

  • Cancel - don't save the part
  • Add More - add additional photos for the same part
  • Save - save and view the part page
  • Next Part - move on to the next item
Where do my parts appear on the web and what can I do there?

Uploaded images appear under the corresponding project. From there you can:

  • Edit project and location names
  • Download CSV of the project
  • Share link to a view-only project page
  • Toggle into All Parts Search (shows all parts across locations)
  • Expand/collapse locations to see each part's status

Status & Validation

  • Green 👍 = Manually reviewed
  • Red 👎 = More photos requested
  • Yellow 👎 = Additional photos received; needs review
  • Green ✓ = Validated in database (may include ECCN, HTS codes, preliminary pricing)
How do I edit parts on the web interface?
  • Open any part, then use the top toggle to cycle between different parts.
  • Use the bottom toggle to switch photos for the same part. The magnifying glass will freeze the frame (click again to unfreeze) with adjustable zoom.
  • Edit any fields the AI missed. Manual quantity updates and notes from the app carry over.
  • Saving a part (with or without changes) turns the thumb Green 👍 (reviewed).
  • See which user captured the photo at the top of the content area.
How do I request more photos for a part?
  1. In the part edit lightbox, click Request More Photos. The thumb turns Red 👎.
  2. On the app home screen, tap Tasks to see all items needing more images.
  3. The part page shows its location tree under the headers.
  4. After additional photos are added, the status becomes Yellow 👎 to indicate needs manual review.
How do I download a CSV or share a read-only link?
  1. Click the download icon to export your project as a CSV.
  2. Click share to generate a link that allows view-only access to images and parts (no editing).
